The hot tub is ready to use. You will just have to put lid back on and secure it, once you are done using it. Traditionally in Iceland we have hot tubs, not Jacuzzis. They are a place for conversations. There are no jets or lights in the hot tubs.

The hot tub won’t be serviceable during major events like storms, very bad weather, or volcanic eruptions. The glass ceiling might not always be clear during snowfalls or due to ice accumulating. There will be no refunds, even partial, for these reasons. We can’t guarantee a view through the glass ceiling but we always try to clean the glass outside when it’s not freezing and remove snow when weather permits.
If you can’t make it to the cottage for the following reasons: canceled flights, illness, accident, storms, or weather-related issues, we won’t offer you a refund. We do advise you to purchase travel insurance, via your credit card, personal, or airline. During winter, it’s advised to stay in the area the previous night and not to plan a stay far from the airport on your last night in Iceland.
Lost items: If you forget an item, we can meet you near Hella to give it back to you. Or send it back to you. This requires us to go to Selfoss. for that reason, we are charging a 30€ fee plus postage.
If any damage was to occur, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the amount of the repair or replacement and you will receive justification (pictures and bills) via email.
